Expecting a baby is always an exciting time! But when that child is born sick, it is very difficult. This is our story and how good can come from bad, bringing blessings we never would have expected!

postOur lives changed the day our second child was born. Although it was the most difficult day in our lives, it turned out to bring blessings in ways we would never have expected!

Our daughter was born with five heart defects, DiGeorge Syndrome and 5% chance of survival.

These problems were never detected during my pregnancy. But it could have all started when I was 13 weeks pregnant, and I started bleeding heavily one day while I was out. I went straight to my doctor’s office where they checked for a heartbeat, and it was still there! I was thankful that I didn’t lose the baby. Everything continued to progress as the months went on, but we didn’t know what we were in for.
